Diane, a wildlife artist who is originally from Hartlepool, has lived and worked in the North York Moors National Park for over 30 years, where she draws much of her inspiration from. She recently graduated with a Fine Art degree from Hull University. Her main passions are birds of prey and all things equine, whilst her preferred medium is acrylic and oil paints, and more recently she has discovered the joy of pastels with some pleasing results.
Due to the subject matter of her paintings, she works mainly from photographs that she taken from attending Game Fairs and Point-to-Point Racing.
In this high speed technological world that we now live in, it is hoped that Diane's work will remind the viewer just how beautiful nature can be. She is looking to spark the viewer’s interest in her wildlife subjects through compelling compositions, which will hopefully captivate the viewer with a lasting impression of her work.
In addition to exhibiting at shows and in galleries, Diane also accepts commissions for pets and horse portraits. Email her with a photo of your beloved pet or horse for a quote.
